Education remains a top priority in the New South Africa…
and while government goes to extreme lengths to provide communities with the necessary text books, stationary and personnel, it is up to the rest of us to step up and do our part to add value. We’ve seen how our visiting international guests also like to get their hands dirty and participate when it comes to this important cause and PenQuin facilitates opportunities for the excited minds of young learners in previously disadvantaged communities to connect with the tourists.

We recently visited the EA Davidson Memorial School outside Vaalwater in Limpopo. Our guests made friends with the excited kiddies and we were happy to be able to supply them with sports equipment, a cash amount contributed by the tourists as well as food and stationary.

Like with many of these groups of kids, self-confidence boosting exercises are of huge value and they were very keen to perform their delightful own dramas for the visitors. What fun! We showed them some cool photography and editing tricks and a fabulous day was had by all.
